We have got some really (REALLY) awesome events coming up LIVE at Whipstitch in the next few weeks, and they all start this Wednesday. Are you ready? Kelly McCants, author of Sewing with Oilcloth, will be in the shop signing copies of her book and sharing her tips and trade secrets for working with these fabrics. Many of us think "oilcloth" and we think of icky, plasticky picnic tablecloths, but that couldn't be further from the modern truth! The 20 projects Kelly has put together in her book, using traditional oilcloth and the very popular laminated cottons that are out now, will change your mind. I look forward to seeing your booth at the Country Living Fair on Friday, but since I work across the street from Whipstitch (so convenient), I may stop by!
